Together, we are changing lives

Joseph A. “Jay” Connor, JD/MBA, is the Founder/CEO of The Collaboratory for Community Support and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan.
He has extensive leadership experience in the business, nonprofit, and public policy arenas. He has spoken to audiences across North America on a broad range of subjects which have at their root the elements of positive community change and the role of leadership.

Mr. Connor is a powerful advocate of community impact strategies with a special emphasis on the role of funders and private sector partners in the process of bringing real and lasting change to our communities.

He was a featured speaker at the 2006 United Way National Conference where he delivered a clarion call for funders to rethink their traditional transaction approach to solving problems. He both inspires and challenges community leaders to examine their own role in not only supporting, but actively participating in community change efforts, both individually and corporately.
