Community Based Organizations Compensation Survey 2009
                       
In 2002, United Way of Regina commissioned a survey of their funded partners exploring issues of compensation, benefits and staff demographics. This initial study arose from an identified need in the sector for local information on these issues.
                       
In 2009, we once again undertook a similar survey in response to an expressed need for local data on the non-profit sector.  The CBO Compensation Survey 2009 was produced and collected by United Way of Regina and reports on issues of compensation, benefits, professional development and trends in human resources in Regina’s non-profit sector.

Our Youth Matter

Our Youth Matter introduces two frameworks that guide our work; the 40 Developmental Assets, and the Determinants of Community Well-being, and presents demographic and statistical information on youth in Regina, as well as analysis of the various barriers to learning and employment youth face.

United Way of Regina funds innovative and collaborative projects focused on youth, and some of these investments are also highlighted alongside our plans for the future.

  Based on our Board of Directors commitment to review these priorities every seven years to ensure our energies are directed towards issues of continued relevance and importance in our community, we have reframed the original four priorities through a Determinants of Community Well-Being lens, and have identified desired outcomes in the areas of early life, education, income and social inclusion.
