Dr. Seuss Reading Day volunteer Registration

Each year, United Way Regina raises awareness of the importance of early literacy and reading by third grade by celebrating the birth of the man behind the silly rhymes: Theodor Seuss Geisel affectionately known as Dr. Seuss.  On Friday March 1, 2019 we will celebrate what would be his 115th birthday. Bringing community leaders and young readers together to share the joy of reading.

Volunteers commit 90 minutes to read a brand new Dr. Seuss book one-on-one with a child in Grade 1 - 3, complete literacy activities and join in singing Happy Birthday. We mobilize approximately 100 volunteer readers each year. We invite you to join the celebration and register today!
